About Airliner Price Guide

The Airliner Price Guide was established in 1985 to provide the industry with the most accurate and up-to-date aircraft and engine values available. With values taken from actual transactions, the APG provides our subscribers with a powerful tool to support business decisions in a rapidly changing aviation environment.

The Airliner Price Guide serves a diverse cliental, including banks, leasing companies, airlines, manufacturers, governments, financial institutions, and consulting firms.

Providing values in three categories; Average New Price, Used Retail Price, and Used Wholesale Price. All of the aircraft values are provided by aircraft year of manufacture and production serial number. Values are provided for most all commercial transports: jets, turboprops, and commuter aircraft. In addition to aircraft values, the APG provides engine values, technical data, and background information. Engine manufacturers include: CFM International, GE, Honeywell, IAE, Pratt & Whitney USA, Pratt & Whitney Canada, Rolls-Royce Germany, Rolls-Royce England, and Rolls-Royce USA.

A hardcopy publication of the APG is available, with revisions published twice annually. Alternatively, the APG online is updated more frequently and is intended to provide real-time values to support the dynamic industry it serves.

The newest product in the works for online is the Maintenance Records Audit System, (MRAS). The MRAS system is 128 bit, SSL encrypted for security which:

• Allows clients to store aircraft data, inspection reports and records in a secure site for easy review by buyers, sellers, legal advisors, maintenacne providers or other parties at the client's discretion.

• All data is audited by one of our professional staff prior to its entry into the system

• The MRAS system is not just a data storage location, it tracks accumulated hours & cycles, engine location(s) and changes in the mantenance program

• Has links to source documents and other aircraft specific data

• Compares previous and most recent audits

• Provides our opinion of the aircraft status, including recommendations 

We request the records directly from the operator. We audit the records, note inconsistencies, and conduct data entry. Our clients are able to access their information anytime, anywhere - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the internet.
